This was a last-minute, one-night stay. The check-in staff is nice and friendly. The lobby was clean and welcoming. I booked a one-bedroom king suite. The living room setup was unusual, with the sofa sectioned away from the TV. I had a problem with the showerhead, which was promptly fixed. There is a daily fee for parking. My disappointment stems from the fact that the amount to be held on my card was never discussed. I was distracted by the friendly conversation with the agent when I presented my card and forgot to ask. I checked my card that night and called ge front desk. They claim their policy is a $150.00 hold/authorization when reservations are made through a third-party app. The representative never stated the amount. Furtheemore, it seems deceptive.The reservation that was paid in full for one night, with the only incidentals being parking. Yet, they are still holding the authorization. This same weekend I had a two-night stay at another hotel chain, through a third party app and the authorization was only $50. and it was released the same day upon checkout.
