We only stayed one night but the staff was so kind and helpful. The hotel is hip and the room was very nice with everything we needed. It is located in a great neighborhood and close to walking to all the sites. Breakfast was delivered and delicious. We would stay here again.

Healthy living in the heart of Athens

When I saw our twin beds, I wasn’t sure what to think; it was an unusual platform side by side set up, very in keeping with a yoga style flat. The mattress was so comfortable though. The service and breakfast exceeded expectations.

Absolutely wonderful!

We visited Athens for our 20th anniversary and the team at ALKIMA made the experience perfect! From their recommendations on where to eat or romantic walks to the perfectly proportioned breakfast and pristine room cleaning, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend our week. The room had many amenities and the location was perfect!

Although the area may seen a little sketchy, the hotel itself is beautiful and the customer service was above and beyond. From the luxury and freedom of breakfast served to booking a taxi for the ride back to the airport, l would highly recommend this hotel.

We absolutely adore this property. We did 5 nights there and would definitely stay there again. The perfect boutique hotel and amazing value! The rooms are gorgeous and unique, beds super comfortable, breakfast is delicious with amazing options, the view from the roof of the Acropolis is spectacular and the pool is an excellent touch for those warm summer days and nights. It’s great walking distance to almost every major site, as well as Monastiraki. You’re also just on the border of Psyri which is fantastic for food, bars and clubs. 10/10 stay!

Lovely hotel in a great part of town. Up a quiet street only one block away from bars and restaurants. The hotel is small and perfectly formed. The roof terrace is its best feature. Breakfast can be a bit haphazard and probably not good value. Rooms were advertised as having a balcony - be warned, you can just about have one person stand out there but there are very very small!! The rooms were nice. We had two rooms and paid the same price for both, but one room was considerably smaller than the other. Staff were nice if a little overly casual. Best features are the roof terrace with views of the acropolis, and the location. It’s probably a bit overpriced for what you get. I would consider staying again but not for as long.

Alkima Athens was absolute perfection. We loved every minute of our stay here. The rooftop pool is lovey. The breakfast is so good and so well presented. It was very, very clean, which is always my biggest concern traveling anywhere. The staff were so helpful and kind. It's well air-conditioned and stays good and cold. I mean we truly had a fabulous stay, and I plan to recommend these accommodations to any and everyone. This is the best place to stay in Athens, and we stayed at two other hotels.

Me and my husband stayed for eight days at this hotel, and it was by far the sweetest and most exceptional honeymoon we could ask for! The staff were so lovely, the rooms were so clean, they helped us along the way figure out how to navigate the city. I was suggested this hotel by a coworker who shortly after staying there retired, realizing how amazing they treated her and I thought, absolutely. I should stay there too. We gave it a shot, Greece has been on our bucket list for a very long time, and it was well worth it and everything we hoped for - this hotel is amazing. I truly recommend if you want to be in an area that is safe, comfortable, and walkable to everything that you might wanna see in Athens!

The Alkima Athens hotel is very nice. A rather small hotel with few rooms with nice interior. The breakfast can be selected individually with a lot of choices, and you can either have it in your room, at the rooftop or the patio. We have received many tips and recommendation from the hotel staff for excursions, restaurants and bars. It made our stay in Athens great. Also the hotel is located directly next to the Psirri district with many many restaurants and bars and nightlife, it’s not far from Plaka but also not far from sights like Agora and Akropolis. It was the perfect point to explore the city. The pool on the rooftop is small but nice for a refreshing dip in the water. We would stay here again. Special shoutout to the wonderful Irini who did everything she could to make our stay even better!! Thank you so much.

We stayed for one night on our way home from an island trip. We really enjoyed the comfort, small little roof top with pool and the friendliness of the staff. Also good water pressure and great breakfast (to go for us). It’s on a bit of a weird street and approximately 10 min walk from closest metro, but we did not mind that.

This was a cute and friendly hotel nearby to Monastiraki square and not far from the monuments. The street view was nothing impressive, but it was nice inside.
