nice house close to the airport, very friendly.

It is a very good experience to stay in Varaba Country House. We arrived the airport around 7 pm, and the driver picks us up on time. The house is very nice and new, the driver is so friendly and the dinner prepared by the cook is excellence! Definitely will recommend to friends and re-visit the house.

Hassle-free with super nice driver Nicholas

Pro: - 10 minutes away from airport - good for transit - Have to emphasize NICHOLAS, the super nice driver arranged by hotel which costed 12€ only (while taxi or other transportation costs more than 30€) friendly, helpful, with different cars to handle 2/4/6/more guests with luggage. You could also talk to him for arranging another transfer, not just between airport and hotel - Free western breakfast set per person (bread, boiled egg, yogurt, milk, cereals, coffee) - Staff are friendly and Christina is responsible via email - Super quiet place at night Other comments: - Around 40 minutes away downtown - can ask Nic to take you directly to town or to airport then take train - Could order dinner from hotel (White wine + Bread + Greek Salad + Baked Penne with tomato sauce, egg plant and mixed meats) - Can order food delivery like pizza but didnt order the dinner (or simply dont like) - You can never walk to this place by youself and I dont think taxi drive can bring you to here correctly Con: - The hot water is not too stable - 4-person room size varies (the bigger one seems old when the modern and clean one is smaller - P.S. We stayed for two nights with same price but arranged to two different rooms)

This was an unexpected delight! I decided last minute to book this place because it was close to the airport and reasonably priced. It turned out to be the perfect place to decompress on my last night in Greece. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and it felt more like traditional bed & breakfast, and that’s a good thing. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very quiet and peaceful stay. Just stayed for one night but communication with the host was excellent and they provided a ride from and to the airport for a very fair price. Breakfast in the morning was simple but excellent. Very clean and comfortable house. Would stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay . It was everything we were wanting , a lovely little sojourn near airport in a tranquil local country setting . Owner was delightful , staff so kind and courteous . Taxi service outstanding. Home cooked meal available, loved that ! We slept last two nights before flying home after a busy trip and just wanted quite affordable by airport . Thank-you to all the lovely staff and pets that made our stay so enjoyable :)))

I very much enjoyed my brief stay at Varaba (to make a 6am flight more manageable!). My suite was comfortable and spacious, the common spaces welcoming. The staff was helpful and responsive prior to my arrival, and there was genuine care in the guest experience. Claudine was a wonderful hostess and chef. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Clean room, wonderful owner, beautiful location in the country and easy and quick access to the airport. We had dinner both nights we stayed at Varaba. The dinners were outstanding; authentic Greek prepared by Nikolia who went out of her way to make our experience perfect!

This is one of the hard choices in life: should I give this place the raving review it deserves, or should I keep my mouth shut so I keep this jewel to myself? I stayed here twice during the last week. Excellent service, staff are kind, proactive, attentive, breakfast is excellent, the room, bathroom and public spaces are well designed, cosy and clean. Now, don’t you all book it, so it gets sold out when I want to go back….
