Excellent stay at Tropical Hotel. Place is adorable, clean and excellent location to beautiful beach. The had the cutest little bar and a quaint restaurant. Food was amazing and homemade by the lovely lady who runs or owns the hotel.

excellent value for money

the staff is super nice and professional the bus stop to and from the airport is less then two min. walk from the hotel the beach is across the street. room was big and comfortable breakfast ok can be more selection and tasty.

This place is old!! No convenience shops around but across the road from the beach & tram station which will take you into town central. Wish we’d found a nicer Place maybe a few tram stops closer to town as there was nothing around this hotel except 1 cafe & home decorating shops

Our stay was lovely. The staff was kind and helpful, the food was wonderful and the location across from the beach was perfect. If you buy the city sightseeing 48 hour pass you can get in 4 blocks north of the hotel and take it all the way in to Athens. See the sights!

Beautiful beach is located right across the street to the right (clear water), easy access to local bus which will take you to downtown or Acropolis about 45min 10-15 minute walk. My 1st time in Greece, I was kind of worried about not being close to a nice beach. The beach was perfect - calm and clear.

Knap 4 stjerner, men et hotel med virkelig god service, rengøring hver dag, gratis strandhåndklæder, og god morgenmadsbuffet efter sydlandske forhold. Nemt at tage bus til og fra lufthavnen og bus eller tog til og fra centrum/havnen. Stranden 5 minutters gang væk. Kan anbefales til et ophold i Athen med strandture og seværdigheder. Eneste minus er den megen trafikstøj.

Good location. Clean. Friendly staff. Broken water pipe in bathroom so had to wait an hour for maintenance. Air conditioner is controlled by the front desk. You have to call them to turn it on, off, or adjust the temperature…very annoying! You can’t just go in the pool. You have to have a reservation. Pool is tiny. No instructions for how to operate the room safe. We were told that breakfast goes until 10:30 but the guy was wrong because he was new. Showed up at 10:15 and everything was gone.

Unfortunately this hotel was very dirty. I’m very much unsure how they got their “2013 clean award” they’re presenting in the lobby. We paid for a big room and because we found hair in the bed, the sink and the bathtub (I took photos) we were moved to another room. This room was much smaller and was also dirty- hair on the towels, dirt on every space in the room. You can hear everything that’s being said in the rooms and the hallway by your room and there is an extremely busy street right on front. There is no relaxing here. We tried to get at least a partial refund for the downgrade and dirty rooms but hotel and Expedia both refused. Absolutely disappointing.
