Bel hotel boutique, grande chambre, accueil incomparable par le Guest service manager avec accompagnement personnalisé! Roof top restaurant excellent et vue sur l’Acropole! Les juniors suites ont la vue sur le temple de Zeus, malheureusement le côté le plus bruyant de l’hôtel à cause de la circulation intense!

I booked a Deluxe Room for one night at the Atheneum. What I received was, without question, the worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The room looked nothing like the photos on the hotel’s website for a Deluxe room. When I called the concierge to report the issue, I was told it was “in the same category” as the Deluxe room. I explained that I would never have booked this room, and was told that not all Deluxe room types are pictured online, an unbelievably poor excuse. To make matters worse, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and this was the only room available. In other words, they knowingly passed off an inferior room as a Deluxe and hoped I wouldn’t notice or complain. This is not just disappointing, it’s deceptive. If you charge guests for a higher-tier room, you must provide what’s advertised. What I got was nowhere close to a Deluxe experience. If this is what they consider Deluxe, this hotel is a 1-star property, not 5. I’ve attached photos of the room I received. They speak for themselves. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is clean, stylish, and in a great location close to lots of attractions. We stayed in a junior suite facing the main street. The only downside was the noise, the door had a bit of a gap, so hallway sounds carried in, and with two glass walls, we could hear traffic too. Overall though, it’s a very nice place, and sealing the doors better would severely improve the experience.

The room was a last minute reservation but well worth the price. Even if the room was slightly smaller than we anticipated, it was spotless and well stocked. Definitely would recommend!

Extremely friendly staff and amazing housekeeping. The breakfast was very good with fresh food and a large variety. The location is very good and walkable to all sights. Only tip would be light sleepers maybe opt for higher floors as level 1 was noisy from traffic outside

The best experience we had while traveling in Europe ! The staff was amazing and sooo nice ! I had issues with my hair straightener and one of the staff members offered to go buy it from their shopping center and bring by the end of the day . He even put the receipt inside the bag . He went out of his way to make sure I feel good during our stay . All staff members were amazing ! The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were super clean.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel in Athens, and I can honestly say it was another incredible travel experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome – warm, professional, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Nestled in the heart of the city, we were just steps away from historic landmarks, charming cafes, and vibrant neighborhoods. Whether we were exploring the Acropolis, shopping in Plaka, or simply strolling the local streets, we always felt close to the action but still had a peaceful retreat to return to. Our rooms were spotless, modern, and beautifully designed with plenty of natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from my window was simply breathtaking. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop area – perfect for a morning coffee, breakfast, or evening drinks with stunning views of Athens. Breakfast was a daily highlight: fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors. The hotel also offered helpful recommendations for restaurants, tours, and hidden gems that made our stay even more special. Athens itself is a magical city, but this hotel truly elevated our trip. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable, high-quality stay in Athens!
