Avoid...

We booked a 4-bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathrooms. Now the good and the bad part. Good (i) Nick communicates promptly (ii) The airport pick was reasonably charged and on time (iii) Good convenient location. 200m from the Metro station. Nice bars and cafes nearby. The historical area is about a mile. (iv) The interiors as shown in the website. The rooms spacious and the furniture is nice. (v) At night, you get a 360 deg view of Athens from the balcony. The Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill was a pretty sight. (vi) We had an evening flight, Nick agreed to look after our luggage after we check out. Bad (i) The building is very dated and ill cared for. The 4th floor apartment is accessible by a rickety 2 persons only elevator (ii) In spite of good communication and a timely airport pick up, our families waited on the street for 30 mins for someone to come with the keys. (iii) The apartment is nice but uncared for. (iii) In spite of reminding that we need a clean place, the rooms were not cleaned properly. The dirty linen on the bed were changed only when shown. The curtains kept falling off. The blankets smelt bad, so we did not use them. The kitchen is well equipped but not clean. (iv) Bedrooms did not have latches (v) The bathroom is dirty and unkempt. Dreary colors. Dirty tiles. The water does not drain out, so we had cesspools formed all over the floor with muck floating on it. Overall, a bad experience

Great location with a good layout.

Overall a great apartment, in a fantastic location (young and vibrant, close to amenities and attractions, but more of a local vibe vs tourist hot spot). The apartment was clean, comfortable, a good layout for families, a group of friends, or 2 couples. The kitchen and Bathroom could use a renovation... but as long as your aren’t too fussy or plan on cooking meals it would be fine. Despite the later, I’d still stay there again and also recommend to friends.

Awful, in every sense of the upward. Dirty apartment, disgusting area. Not well located. Not even a hotel or publicized apartment, just an apartment building where someone rents out his apartment!
