Stone Palace

Local amenities were excellent...The hotel was close to supermarkets and a pharmacy and cafes and restaurants. The beach is also close so a visit to the local fish tavern is recommended. A stone's throw away were olive groves as far as you could see.

I liked the location because it was close to the airport but I didn’t like the set up and check in and how room doors were left open before check in, also there was a million bugs inside which irritated me and struggled to sleep

At one time this may have been a quirky and exotic hotel, but now is a wreck. The only amenity is wifi, no breakfast and no place anywhere to sit. The ground floor is a messy car dealership with dirty windows. Some tile work had been done in the room but never finished. An new AC unit was installed but the plaster around it never repainted. Literally a 10 minute drive to the airport cost 15€ - rip-off.

Très cher pour un établissement aussi vieillot. Il m'ont fait refaire la CB 4 fois avec mon code sur leur appareil et je ne suis pas sur que les encaissement ne soient pas réalisés. J'ai du finalement régler en espèces.

The building is a beautiful stone structure with lots of character. We were greeted promptly and made arrangements for a shuttle to the airport. I believe the add said free shuttle but there was a sign which said “12 pm-8:30 am shuttles 15 euro”. We were fine with that as we had an 8 am flight to catch. The issue was the air conditioning wasn’t fulling working. We were overheated throughout the night. I think if this is addressed the property is just fine. The host was very kind and he recommended a wonderful gyro restaurant a few blocks away.

My wife and I are seasoned travellers. This hotel was one of worst ones we've encountered. As there was no website, we tracked them down on facebook and found an email address. We emailed them 5 days before to inform them that our flight got in at 130am and asked if they could give us a ride from the airport. We just wanted a place to rest for the night before heading to the airport the next morning for our flight. They replied promptly, telling us it was not a problem. I responded with our flight details and no one replied. I followed up with 2 additional emails. When we landed, there was no shuttle in sight. We called the hotel. No one picked up after two calls, although the hotel was advertised as having a 24-hour desk. We took a cab to the property, the entrance was dark and we saw a dingy little desk with no one there. We looked around for some kind of instruction left for us and didnt see any. There was a sign to the right of the desk with 3 numbers on it. We looked around for a phone on the desk, but there wasnt one. When called, none of the numbers connected. By then it was about 3am and my pregnant wife was tired. I went upstairs to see if I could find anyone. Eventually I found a room unlocked with keys in the doorknob. With no other choice, my wife and I slept a few hours in the room. I was fearful the whole time someone would barge in to the room. To be fair, the room was nice and we got a ride to the airport the next morning. Book at your own risk.
