The staff was incredible!! We lived how helpful they were and how willing they were to answer questions and help us call for reservation, taxi ride, etc. The bathroom was not great. There was lots of hair on the wall which grossed us out and made us wonder if things were ever cleaned. Some noise from the neighboring restaurants but wasn't too bad. Like the don't use plastic bottles for water for the environment but wished that the water tasted better.

The hotel was really centrally located with all the main sites within a 30 minute walk. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was spotless. Will be going back next year!

Stayed here before and after a cruise out of Piraeus. Area was central to all that Athens offers. Beautiful, modern hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Will stay here again.

Hotel in a great location, was able to walk everywhere with ease. The vip perk was on the desk in room but with another customers name on it! Bit meh knowing that no effort was put in to that. But overall had a fantastic trip and went at the right time, no queues at sights and the weather was glorious.

Great boutique hotel in Athens
Great location, close to restaurant, bars and touristy venues. Can be a bit loud at night but usually stops by midnight. Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food was great.

I stayed at the Perianth and another hotel in Plaka during my visit. The Perianth is uniquely located away from busy road traffic but at the centre of a square with a number of dining and bar options nearby. I believe I was at a quiet corner of the floor, so outdoor noise was not a huge concern, and room to room sound insulation was good (I could hear every door close at the other hotel I stayed). The reception and concierge service was personal. I checked in late in the night, and a very kind young gentleman at reception ran over to the restaurant next door to personally place my order. As other reviews have noted, the design is modern and yet very practical. Breakfast was also very good. I really enjoyed my stay and would choose the Perianth again.

This was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were nice and clean. Great views of the Acropolis. Very well centrally located. The staff was so friendly and helpful. If you called the front desk for a coffee, it was there in 2 mins. The only thing to note is the hotel is located above a few really loud restaurants. Although this didn’t bother my sleep, I could hear the buzzing noise. Overall I would absolutely stay here again.

Stylish, modern, and in a fantastic location, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Perianth Hotel. The room was so nice, even the shower had great products. As a solo woman I felt very secure there. The doorman let you in and out. Breakfast was included and even though I had an early flight the hotel packed me a to go for the ride to airport. The bed was very comfortable, loved the robe and bathroom sundries.

Great location but overpriced. Photos of suites are misleading, in my opinion. Room was showing its age with scuff marks on the furniture and discoloured grouting at base of shower. Advertised mini-bar was an unstocked cooling drawer. Coffee pods and milk not replaced after first day. Staff were very friendly.

We only stayed in Athens for 2 nights, but this hotel was very nice. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very clean and had modern amenities. The Acropolis view from the balcony was a special treat! Many restaurants, bars and shopping places were very close. The city is a bit crowded, and we were surprised by all the graffiti on the buildings. I guess that's city life.

Absolutely fantastic location surrounded by shops, bars, and restaurants. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony. These properties need to do a better job providing and making clear they've provided the VIP benefit through Expedia. I have no idea if we got a room upgrade, and i had to hound them for the free bottle of wine that they clearly state as a benefit of booking this hotel. I booked this hotel because it is a "VIP" hotel on Expedia. It's very annoying to have to hound them to provided what they say they're going to provide. Other than that, this was a great stay with friendly staff.

The room and the property was very clean and beautiful, but by far what made our stay so enjoyable was the staff. They were so extremely nice and helpful. Always went above and beyond and their attention to detail is amazing. Breakfast that was included was an added bonus... To top that off, we had a 5am taxi ride to the airport (which they helped arrange), but they had a to-go breakfast prepared and handed to us as we left. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Athens.

The staff were amazing! We made a mistake in booking our room and wanted instead the Acropolis view. At our check-in, we notified they were able to upgrade us with the view! Staff are amazing, polite, and will go above and beyond to make your experience a great one. Room is large and beautiful. It is probably the best hotel location to be in because everything was close by, 15 minutes to everything (acropolis, Hadrians gate, etc.). We are grateful for the staff and their wonderful service!

My family had a wonderful stay at the Perianth Hotel! The entire staff was great, but Konstantina deserves a special mention. We worked together to plan a special dinner for my family with some recommendations by the chef. The food was amazing chef, and the view from the patio penthouse suite made it even more magical. Vanessa, Leandros and Hercules service also contributed to the success of our dinner party.

We loved this hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating including booking us a transfer to the airport in the middle of the night when we found out our ferry was canceled. The hotel is located in the heart of a neighborhood with trendy restaurants and bars. For exercisers- just be aware there is no fitness center on property but they do provide access to a gym a short distance away and there is a 25 euro fee. I recommend this hotel highly!

Hazardous hotel . Watch out fior tripping hazard.
This hotel should be rated a 3 star or less Why ? First,you should know that there is a tripping hazard on third floor and likely on others as well by elevators. See attached photos. They were told about it and refused to acknowledge or fix it. Then ,even thought I booked a suite this should not be considered a suite . I told them it was very uncomfortable and not acceptable.I told them ,I can’t stay there after I tripped ,they said “Fine go elsewhere “ then after I booked King George they said sorry you will be charged Full Three days. No options given other than another room exactly same on another floor for $100 more per night.Manager refused to consider any adjustments. Finally ,the room feels very cold and depressing as well.The area is questionable as they told me “watch out for thefts when you go out.” Go to King George , a true five star ,instead and you won’t regret it.

We are sorry to see that you did not enjoy your stay as much as we would like you to.Please note that your reservation was for a junior suite and not a suite and the room you were checked-in was a junior suite. When you informed us that you did not like the room you had been assigned, we tried to find alternative solutions in order to make your stay a better one. This included showing you alternative room. As we where almost fully booked, we showed you higher category rooms and offered an upgrade with significant discount. You were informed by our reception from the beginning that should you decide to leave the hotel, the cost of the entire stay would be charged. this was made clear from the beginning and is also in the terms of your reservation, so you were aware of it since you made your booking with us.We find it unfortunate that you are claiming that you tripped, when this is not the case and you know you used it as an excuse in order to pressure the hotel in accepting the refund you demanded.As far as your comments regarding the area the hotel is located are concerned, it can be easily seen by a google map search that we are located in the heart of the city in one of the best locations anyone visiting Athens could ask for, within walking distance to all major attractions and completely safe. Not sure who told you what you are claiming, but it is certainly not the case. In fact we are located 5 minutes on foot from the hotel you mention, so practically in the same neighborhood.Kind Regards,The Perianth Hotel Team

This hotel is in a fabulous location. The staff will help with all your needs during your stay. Beds were comfy and I can’t find anything that I did not like at this property.

We had a great stay at Perianth Hotel. The highlights are the grand shower and the complimentary breakfast via room service. The staff is extremely nice, and the location is near so many great restaurants and less than a 20-minute (~17) walk from the Acropolis. Some of the light switches are a bit flimsy, but not a big issue.
