The couple who owns the Modular Bungalows (modularbungalows.gr) are two of the kindest and sweetest people you’ll ever meet. They have fruit trees and offered us delicious apricots and nectarines as well as wine they make there. The property itself is a bit older and very remote (in the country). As a result, walking to the small, beach-like shore and restaurants was tricky because of traffic. In the bungalow itself, our shower didn’t work properly (the steam part didn’t work and it leaked) but everything else was just fine. The heated pool is much smaller than the picture. The property felt secure because of card access. The bungalows are close together so we kept our blinds closed. I liked that they are 100% solar and environmentally conscious. Their van is electric and the ride to and from the airport was reliable and friendly. The customer service was outstanding. Off you want something quote and out of the way, this is your place!

The host was incredibly helpful and kind, especially after I made a mistake about booking the wrong dates! The bungalows are like little apartments, cozy, remote, and quiet. Eateries are walkable, a mini mart is right next door, and the room is peaceful offering Netflix and a lovely pool. Very cozy ans peaceful for an overnight stay or a couple nights if you don't want to be in or too close to the city.

We very much enjoyed this comfortable, relaxing seven unit eco-resort. Our reservation was upgraded to the pool-front family bungalow, which was spacious and outfitted with a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker etc.) Start-up supplies were very generous, including wine, nuts, coffee, tea, sugar, milk etc. The pool is heated, lit at night and has several lounge areas. A five minute walk to the beach offers a safe swimming area with chairs and umbrellas for both sun and shade. There are several nice beachfront dining options and a mini-mart next door to the property for snacks, liquor and sundries. Alina was very proactive, arranging pickup and drop off at the airport for a reasonable fee. She was easy to reach by WhatsApp, and checked in with us before, during and after our visit. We will definitely return!

This location is truly peaceful and relaxing after a busy vacation in Athens and Mykonos. The pool and rest was just what we needed after a long vacation. We really enjoyed this property and the area is very beautiful. We only had 1 night but could've easily spent a week here! Pros- We had a private jacuzzi and lots of room to relax both indoors and outdoors, our own private oasis that was beautiful. Good A/C and water temp/ pressure. The owners were both very friendly and accommodating, they have created a paradise and you can tell there is pride of ownership. The entire place was very clean and well maintained and we would definitely stay there again. It's very close to walk to restaurants and the beach, we were able to take the bus here from Athens and didn't need a vehicle at all. Cons- There is a busy road out front and although it's very quiet inside, you can definitely hear a lot of traffic outside. There were also neighbor dogs barking pretty consistently the entire time we were there. The inside is very bright early in the morning, the shade doesn't block out the light well so you might want to pack an eye mask if you're light sensitive. (Blackout drapes would help a lot!) The cleaning person just opened our door at 8am without knocking and was going to walk into our room but noticed we were just out of the shower. I'm assuming it was a miscommunication but we weren't dressed yet, so definitely not ideal. (There's no deadbolt to prevent this from happening).

Looks much better online than it actually is. We thought we were staying in polished rooms with a pool but it was more a trailer park kind of experience

We booked the hotel super last minute and the hotel was super accommodating. I can not say enough wonderful things about the family that owns it and the property. It was hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed. It was absolutely stunning, clean, and well maintained. The shuttle service was also super great, very close to public transportation, bars and restaurants. The pool was gorgeous. My husband and I will definitely go back if we are in Athens again.

Such a beautiful place!!! So unique. We enjoyed our visit so much. We had our own hot tub and robes. Their wine was fantastic! Would recommend!

Elias and Alina were amazing hosts! Our bungalow was perfect for the three of us traveling together. It was spacious, clean, and well furnished. A short walk gets you to restaurants and the beach. Elias was very accommodating with transportation and went out of his way to give us a tour of the area on our way to the cruise port!!

This is a very unique cool place, very different from other hotels. You stay in your own modular building that’s is very stylish and comfortable. The saltwater pool was a lovely 72 degrees and so lovely and clean. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. I hope I can make it back again someday!
