I booked this hotel because it was near to the airport and I knew I'd need to crash hard after 20+ hours of air travel. In the past I've booked the hotel AT the airport for this purpose, but it's gotten to be exceptionally expensive. This was an amazing option and I will stay here again on my Athens arrive and departure days. It has everything you could possible need, and was easy to find via rental car. You can park your car in a secure underground garage but I felt mine was safe just outside reception.

Check in was very easy and convenient. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and readily available upon contact. It is about 40 minutes from Athens, but about 10 minutes from ferry port if you want to go to other islands.

The reservation was easy, directions given were spot on! Very comfortable for a night before an early flight, equipped with all the necessary amenities 🙏 But, the mattress was uncomfortable, the room wasn't properly cleaned and a touch of handyman/woman is recommended to switch shower handle and such...

Athens is not an easy place to find convenient affordable accommodation when arriving later in the day. Chroma was perfect. Only :10 from airport. Clean, spacious and had a good energy. Self check in and out with water and coffee waiting in the room. Now, Greek taxis are another story.

Lovely accommodation

Lovely accommodation. En suite with a little kitchenette, very easy to contact regarding any issues. A/c is definitely a treat in the hot weather! If you’re staying here and looking to commute to Athens you need to buy the bus pass in Athens! We couldn’t find anywhere in Pikermi to buy from. Ubers are a bit difficult to get from the accommodation into Athens, we had to walk 20mins towards Athens before Uber drivers would pick up our ride, and they cost on average €30 each way.

Chroma lodge is a great place for short term stays. Pros: convenient location, several dining options within walking distance, many 10-15 mins away, close beaches south of Refina port. Close to the airport. Cons: noisy location, dogs barking, vehicles ripping up and down the main road which the building is directly on. The shower drained very slowly so if you shower with it turned on full it will flood the bathroom, need to shower at half the pressure. There is no reception, you enter the parking/building using a code and a different code to access your room. Checking in was easy as codes came in an email. House keeping is once a week, fresh towels twice a week. Small kitchenette, mini fridge and sufficient dishes, microwave, stove top and sandwich grill. We had a few issues with our room, toilet seat was broken and multiple hook holes were torn thru on the shower curtain, which when i btought it to their attention they had them replaced within days. We went to Santorini and when we came back our fridge had leaked(mini freezer had a huge chunk of ice that melted) standing water on the floor and some of our food was moldy and had to be thrown out. They reimbursed us for the lost food cost. All in all a good stay.

It was very difficult to find the property. The room was double booked. When I opened the door I meet someone who was sleeping on the bed. But the lady on telephone ( very friendly)fixed a new room for me .I couldn’t shower because of No warm water .

The process was so easy. I booked this apartment on my way to Athens, got an email with the garage code as well as the unit's door. The street is busy, but having a garage was convenient. Also close to airport.
