The hotel and the room were very nice. The bed was comfortable. We had a three night stay but housekeeping never cleaned our room. We had to go down to the front desk for clean towels. Also. They ran out of coffee.

There was trash outside the room. Hairballs on the floor. Stained sheets. Tub would not drain. Staff never asked if our stay was okay. Would not recommend! The positive was the roof did not leak during the storm.

Granted this was UGA graduation weekend and demand was high- the price we paid for our rooms was a little out of whack for what you get. Everything is pretty dated and not that nice. Room had a busted toilet paper and towel rack, bed sheet had stain on it. There’s only one elevator that goes to upper floors which doesn’t work well with high occupancy. However if price were much lower which is probably the case on most days then I would’ve been more satisfied. The staff is friendly enough. The lady in the breakfast room was very nice and friendly. The parking situation is good. The location is pretty good because it’s walkable to downtown Athens.

I liked the location in Athens. The room floor was dirty. The toilet clogged on a normal visit. The shower handle was loose, falling toward the HOT until I jammed a folded paper into the handle space. The breakfast had no fresh fruit except apples. The coffee was weak. Overall, a poor visit.

We originally booked the hotel because my son was in an accident and hospitalized. However he was discharged and we wanted to cancel the reservation but we were unable to cancel due to Expedia cancellation policy. Kipp offered to give us credit to use on a future stay from the property itself however we did not have any plans for a future stay so we decided to stay the night. The room was adequate. Parking was limited. We missed the breakfast but the morning desk attendant made coffee for us

There was a beer left in the fridge from previous guest & The AC in the room was loud. Outside noise (traffic) was loud all through the night. Housekeeping came in on our 2nd day & only left 2 towels. I had to call the front desk for wash cloths & toilet paper. We had our own soap etc. Parking space was tight for our full size truck.

The linens were not clean. Food and hair in both beds. I requested replacement and I would change them myself. When I received them and removed the dirty linens, the mattress cover and mattress was coated with urine and other bodily fluids. The floors were dirty. The room smelled like dirt and cigarettes. So sad this is a representation of Athens, GA

Parking was secure, smelled like pee everywhere, trash in the lot, everything was slam packed. No parking control, came out to my car with 3 dings in it that were not there prior to our stay. The room was awful, crumbs in every corner. Sheets were stained, cockroaches / spiders in beds & bathroom. The whole room smelled like someone had just smoked 3 packs of cigarettes. Overall, a horrible experience. Would NOT RECOMMEND.

We were put in an outdoor room that was mildew with suspect stains throughout. Stained towels. A frayed hair dryer cord. We had to leave after the first night as we couldn’t stand the moldy smell

Breakfast was hard to locate. Third floor not in lobby as most. Sink and shower plugged. I informed mgt. location good. Quiet. No cups or ice bucket in the room. Hint of smell of weed…
