Our family of five—two adults and three teenagers—had a wonderful stay at Athens Ikon. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere for all of us. The service was outstanding, and every request was handled promptly and with a smile. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, which made dining out with teenagers easy and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the breakfast served at the hotel each morning—there was something for everyone, and it was a great way to start each day. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and we all felt very comfortable throughout our stay. This hotel is a fantastic choice for us and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The Ikon Athens is the perfect place to stay in Plaka. The location is so convenient, but the staff is truly what makes this hotel the only place I would stay in Athens! They are simply amazing, friendly and go above and beyond in so many ways! We began and ended our vacation there and it was like coming home the second time. Don’t look elsewhere, just book it!

This is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Athens. Close to all the shops, restaurants and public transport. Easy to catch the metro to and from the airport. 5 min walk from Syntagma Square. We had the top floor apartment VI. Huge balcony, with dining table, loungers and sofa area. The rooms are stylishly decorated. Electronic control panels for the lights, blinds and black out blinds which was cool. Digital combiination door entry system to your room. The property feels very safe, as the receptionist lets you into the property. The is also a safe in the room for extra security. Wifi is free and very fast. Breakfasts was good and served in your room; you have to choose what you want the night before and the trolly service is delivered to your door in the morning. There is a good choice of omelettes, fruit, juices, hot drinks, cereals. The staff are sooooo nice. Catherine, Theodosia and Celia at the front reception are all very helpful and approachable. Very nice people and we had some nice chats and laughs with them all. All in all this is definitely a boutique hotel, very stylish, excellent location, clean, friendly 10/10
