The check in process is not ideal…they are trying to have you do an online check in that does not work very well even when there’s someone at the front desk, and our door code didn’t work twice and we were locked out of our room. Good location and cute old building otherwise

I've stayed here twice now and both times were AMAZING! This is the coziest hotel you'll find in Astoria, and they do a wonderful job with accommodating and communicating all you need to know. I couldn't recommend more, and I know where I'll be staying when visiting Astoria anytime in the future!

The parking situation sucks a bit. But other than that cool hotel and very clean. Older, but worth the stay for the history. Be forewarned, make sure you get yourself a room with a bathroom. There are options for shared.

The staff was very friendly. Location was great. Room was exactly as described. I may have missed it, but the rooms don't have cold air conditioning. Has a radiator for heat, but it was an exceptionally hot summer day. Slept like a baby either way. Enjoyed my stay.

We stayed in a corner room with private bath and it was such a cute and relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site was delicious and everything was sparkling clean! We had our dogs with us and a water bowl, dog bags, blanket, and dog treats were waiting for us in our room. We’d stay again!

Staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. Rooms were clean and welcoming. We stayed in a compact room with our 11 month old in a pack n play. This is a downtown hotel so there’s the usual sites and sounds to enjoy but they thoughtfully provide ear buds so you can sleep with the window open and block out some sounds. Would stay again!

Great location but pretty expensive for what it was. I opted for the interior room with a shared bathroom. I’m okay with this setup but $200 CAD for a Monday felt like a lot. It was extremely hot and muggy with no options for AC and it’s early/mid September so I’d imagine it’s very hot in the summer. This was a decent stay but I would have been much more okay with it if I felt like the price matched experience.

Parking can be a little tricky and the space is very small but clean! The rooms are not air conditioned but there is a ceiling fan and the window can open quite a bit “probably not super safe for kids” the share bathroom was clean and never ran into anyone else using them. Front desk was super friendly and very accommodating! For the price it’s a solid quick stay!

It’s cute but I think the price for the shared bathroom rooms should reflect the lack of AC for summertime and no other amenities. $135 for really just a bed seems steep especially when it was so hot and noisy. Would only stay in winter time I think because of it being too warm in summer.

Very disorganized front of house operations, check-in was slow and disorganized, and way too much confusing communication. The property is fine, but I had a lot of problems with check-in. They didn’t have my reservation, the code to my room didn’t work,, the Internet didn’t work, too much inconvenience. I will definitely be staying at the Norblad next trip.
