Great Place!
The couple who runs it is very nice. They made a great breakfast for everyone in the morning. There's a lot of fun things to go within a shirt walking distance of the inn

The house is beautiful and so nicely decorated. David and Pam are great hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. They offered suggestions for dining and activities too.

The building was very well kempt and much cozier and inviting than a large hotel. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit.

Our stay was fine. The breakfast was so delicious as we are mostly vegetarians and the dish was tasty and filling. Likewise the bowl of assorted fruits. Because of that we would stay again

I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast and was nervous about it. The house is a lovely older historic home. The owners clearly take extreme pride on their home and the experience they give their guests! They are delightful people! Breakfast was AMAZING!! Would love to stay again!

The flower gardens are gorgeous and the homemade breakfast was fantastic! What a beautiful Victorian home just blocks from the river. The views from the windows were great and the room was comfortable. We had our bikes with us and the hosts offered to have us put them in a storage area in their living part of the house. Such courtesy! I will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

On arrival one is greeted with the beautiful flower gardens, smelling amazingly of the roses. The Rose River Inn is light, bright and airy and of course charming. The rooms are comfortable and clean with everything one needs. Several have sitting areas and/or views of the Mighty Columbia. David and Pam are on site and helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast is over the top delicious.

Cute, quaint, lovely home...got crabbed at for checking in after 9pm, but otherwise, nice time. Older home, so some creeky floors let you hear everyone else coming and going, but not a big deal.

Dear Mr. Anonymous I guess my check in time wasn't to your liking. 3:30 to 6 pm, no phone call to let me know you would be late. Nothing.. We do not have a front desk like a hotel. which would have been more to your schedule. Checked in after 9 pm and was out at 7 am. Why a bed and breakfast? Puzzling to me.

Operators were excellent! They greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the facilities, recommended some local favorites, and advised us of expectation-setting on what business openings on Sunday evening through Tuesday. Room is gorgeous, breakfasts were stellar, the the house is the shortest of walks from tons of downtown spots.

Quiet, comfortable B&B in the heart of Astoria
Pam and David are excellent hosts. They greeted us when we arrived, gave us the rundown of the B&B, showed us to the room, and gave us information about nearby restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Rose River Inn is a very well maintained building, with amazing views from the dining room and some of the guest rooms. The breakfasts are outstanding, with a big fresh fruit salad, yogurt and granola, followed by very good egg dishes (the veggie option). They also have an impressive rose garden. It is a very short walk to the main downtown area, and we only used our car once while in town. We have an electric vehicle, and Pam let us know about a fast EV charging station 2 blocks away. I absolutely recommend Rose River Inn to anyone planning a trip to Astoria.

Very nice property and hosts. This is the traditional B&B experience in a nice old house. Great breakfast. Bed was really comfortable (and I am pretty picky about that). Location was fantastic and hosts were friendly and helpful. 5 Stars!

Quiet Home Base for Brewery Visits!
Pam and Dave are gracious hosts, and were also well versed in local history. The house is clean, spacious, and nicely furnished, and clearly very well cared for. Breakfast was exceptional! Lovely view down the hill from the breakfast table, out to vistas of the water. Perfect location for a stroll into town, and a mere block away from Fort George Brewery, which was the primary focus of our trip. All in all, a great quiet place to spend the weekend. Would highly recommend.
