「The owner was great. Place was well maintained. Family type atmosphere. Room was small, but perfect for what we needed. Lake is awesome. My wife and I sat on the dock with a drink as the sun was setting.」

「Motel is fine for a 1 or 2 star motel. It is clean and has good comfortable beds. The room was tiny. The bathroom was tiny. Barely can fit two people. Otherwise it is fine. Again you need to know that this is super basic motel and the rating is based on that. Don’t expect a nice accommodation when renting it. Fine for a 1 night stay but I wouldnt stay there for longer. It has AC but it is a bit loud and blows right at the bed. Need to cover it with a towel if you don’t want to get cold air blown...

「This is very much like a quaint bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. My room was in a very old house modified to accommodate paid guests. Now, if that appeals to you, this is a great option. Unfortunately, it did not appeal to me, and the fault was mine--not the people who own and run this establishment. I should have done a much better job investigating before booking this property. I have nothing but good things to say about the hostess and other employees... I messed up, not them.」

「We've stayed here several times... myself, my 2 teen boys and our Newfoundland doggo. The building is on the older side, but decently maintained. The staff is super helpful and wonderful to interact with if needed. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and thorough. The chairs on the top of the hill behind the hotel are an excellent place to relax and the view of Monument Mountain is spectacular from there! If you enjoy hiking, access to the trails on Monument Mountain are just down...

「Lovely historic home filled with books and artwork, and many outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the property. Breakfast was wonderful with caring attention paid to guests needs and wishes. It was also a nice time to sit and talk with other inn guests and learn of area places of interest to see/visit. Room was comfortable, not large, with small, very clean en-suite bath. Owner’s dog was sweet to greet us in the morning! Was not able to connect with wifi in our room but not a bad thing to be without...
