「Hotel was lovely, had everything we liked. Lovely outside area, pool and we even enjoyed the pool table. The food was fantastic 5 star and really made our stay. Would definitely go back again. Only one thing that could possibly make stay even better is a little fan in the rooms when it’s super hot, especially on ground floor. 」

「The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.」

「Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were wet through from walking and booth tea and biscuits on arrival. We had a free upgrade to a beautiful sea view room. They had thought of everything. There evening wine glasses and bottle opener in our room. Fresh milk. Fantastic advice about the local area and our days walking the next day. They even gave us a walking pole for the next day. Breakfast was delicious. They were so accommodating and kind.」

「Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment. 「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」
