"Large, modern and well equipped room with beautiful views over the city and a small balcony. The restaurant and bar area is very pleasant, on the rooftop with great views. Food is a little hit and miss. Just worth noting that prices on the menu don’t include taxes. When these are included, this, together with service, adds a third to the bill. This is really misleading and could be easily fixed. Excellent value overall though. "

"Fantastic service from the staff. Great room with million dollar views. Most comfortable bed I have slept in Sri Lanka. Beautiful rooftop with great infinity pool overlooking Kandy lake. Very walkable location - to the city in minutes! The only negative is that the hotel could not handle the volume of guests at breakfast. Many dishes were empty and kept empty for ages. The hoppers we ordered took 2 hours to come! This was the day after the Randoli Perahera so is assume they were not equipped to handle this number of guests. Looking forward to staying here again. A true gem run by the nicest staff ever! "

"The pictures are deceiving. There’s no pool, spa or laundry facilities (even though the hotel profile says they have them). Bathrooms were very dirty. Holes in the walls and ceilings. Ants on the bed. No view across the lake. No handles or locks on the back door. Upstairs kitchen was loud past midnight. Workers were laughing, talking, dropping things on the floor etc, we couldn’t sleep. We had a terrible experience. Can you please give my money back?"
