「The location was spectacularly close to some of the main cultural sites of Évora. All were easily walkable, usually within minutes, and that included restaurants, as well as historical sites. The absolute best thing about the hotel were the staff. Flawlessly professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Restaurant recommendations and reservations were handled with aplomb. I’d never seen a 10.0 rating before. They certainly met that standard for me.」

「Beautiful rural Portuguese “Quinta” hotel with a small number of rooms in a quaint property a few miles out from center of Évora. Very peaceful, clean spacious room and quiet. There’s a nice cozy living room with an honesty self service bar. The only inconvenience is that the reception is not located at the property. Instead it is at the Convento da Espinhosa, some 300 meter drive from the property. There is no instruction to go to this place for check in at the Hotels.com website. The...

「A lovely unique hotel with delightful service. We were staying there during the blackout and the staff put together food and brought in to all the rooms along with candles and battery lamps. The staff worked so hard to make us comfortable and kept us updated on the power outage. Their kindness was very much appreciated. Would stay there again and again. 」

「The check in went smoothly and the receptionist was thorough, showing the room and helping with codes. The breakfast was delivered each morning. It was warm and fresh. Parking options were adequate. The old town was only a 15 minute walk 」

I appreciate that they try to spread the guests over multiple rooms when they are not overbooked, so even though there were several guests staying, I shared the room with only one other person.
