"Room was clean, but there was a cigarette burn hole in our bedspread and on our shower curtain and there was a foul odor in the room. Staff was very helpful. Lots of room for parking by our room. Not much for amenities."

"We left a day early knowing we paid for an extra day - I didn’t care - the room was supposed to be “nonsmoking” but there was an ashtray in there and it REEKED of stale smoke. The towels looked crusty and old, I didn’t DARE to even attempt to take a shower because I didn’t want to touch the towels. The room was laughably damaged, it looked like someone had taken a hammer to the stove and refrigerator. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows could barely be called that due to how thin they were - even trifolded they barely provided any support. And to top it off, the BUGS came out at night! Not one, not two, but THREE creepy crawlies (including what looked to be a small cockroach) came out in the bathroom during the middle of the night - NO THANKS! Hightailed it out of there. Gave the staff themselves low ratings because the woman that unlocked the doors for us looked at us like “why are you bothering me?” and the man that checked us in barely said 2 words to us. Completely unwelcoming - that should have been the first sign to run. NEVER AGAIN! Definitely a case of “buyer beware” / “you get WORSE than you pay for”. Gross - Gross - Gross. The photos on hotels.com looked like they had recently renovated - DEFINITELY NOT, at least not the room we stayed in… Feels like a case of “false advertising”…"

"I never leave reviews but this was horrible experience. Room was clean but bed mattress was sold old, lumpy, and smelly that it was the worst sleep in a hotel. It smelled like an old homeless drugged. Marijuana smelled in the office, then parking lot, to rhe maintenance worker and throughout the hotel. Trash was everywhere. Loud music throughout the walls. Extremely small rooms. Old lumpy pillows. This was by far the worst experience in my adult life. This was equal to worse from eastern Europe Hostels in the early 2000s. Top it off 180 a night. Wow! I ended my stay early and left. Didn't want to say anything to the staff in fear. "

"The description on this app is completely misleading. No pool (closed by health department), no kitchenette, filthy bathroom with unusable tub/shower, gritty floors, noisy traffic outside, I was woken up by fireworks and possibly gunshots. "

"This is the best hotel. We visit Mesa every few months and this is the only hotel we will stay at. The friendliness of the staff is our number one reason. They are accommodating and always welcoming. We got to Meet Shannon last night (I believe that was her name). She works overnights so we hadn’t had a chance to meet her before and she had breakfast ready and was very organized. "
