So we didn’t expect much from an F1; you get what you pay for. But we have stayed in other F1s before, which were much better. Half the toilets were out of action. I imagine poor drainage as by the end of the day the showers were flooded and dirty. No air/con. However it is only a 10 minute walk to Pringy train station which is one stop from Annecy and therefore easy to get around from if you don’t have a car.

No help on accidental booking

Accidentally booked wrong dates as for some reason when i pressed book it changed dates to May from April. Contacted hotels .com didn’t get far with it. Lost the £82 paid for this and then had to rebook to have correct dates. I informed hotels.com straight away but still no refund on accidental wrong dates that have been booked 😔 really disappointed by this

I booked the F1 Annecy in Argonay through Expedia for a room with a bathroom at a higher price for 4 nights. On the day I checked in, the room had no bathroom, was small, and dirty! The walls were moldy, the mirror was broken, and the entire room smelled of dampness! I complained and said this was not the room I had booked and that it needed to be changed immediately. They told me I had to take the issue up with Expedia because their page showed something different! I was extremely angry, and Expedia shamelessly said there were no cancellations and they wouldn’t refund my money! The hotel spoke to me and said they would give me a room with a bathroom the next day, but I had to pay an extra 30 euros! I have no choice but to accept because my money won’t be refunded. However, I have to spend one night in a moldy room, and I have severe allergies—if I get sick, I will immediately file a written complaint! This hotel is terrible in terms of cleanliness, and the health department should investigate this matter! I demand compensation for the physical and emotional distress caused to me."

Pour commencer par le positif ; personnel accueillante et serviable et petit déjeuner correct. Mais concernant la chambre ; malheureusement il faisait beaucoup trop chaud et le manque de climatisation était vraiment un point faible mais le point vraiment négatif est le cafard que j’ai trouvé dans le lit en pleine nuit… ça m’a réveillé , j’ai cru que je me faisait piqué par des moustiques mais c’était un cafard, vraiment horrible… du coup je n’ai pas dormi de la nuit…

Séjour horrible, vraiment un hôtel à fuir.

Séjour horrible, je n’est pas du tout été satisfait. Des mon arrivée vers 15h personne n’était présent à l’accueil. Le réceptionniste a donné ma réservation que j’avais payé en amont à quelqu’un d’autre… Il à fallut que je me bataille pour trouver une solution car le réceptionniste voulait me refaire payer pour une chambre. C’était vraiment invraisemblable, il ont aucun bon sens, c’était une situation très genante pour moi … Je suis resté 2 nuit il a réussi a changer le code d’accès à ma chambre 2 fois, donc impossible de rentrer dans ma chambre seul… Sanitaire commun vraiment insalubre (voir photos) . Salle de bain dégueulasse, WC salle avec de l’eau partout, sans lumière et sans papier toilette pour certain. Aucun savon ni lavabo n’est mis à disposition pour vous laver les mains. Seul lavabo présent est à 20cm du lit dans votre chambre . Chambre médiocre avec un matelas très inconfortable, beaucoup de saleté sous le lit et quelques colocataires présents un peu partout dans la chambre sûrement attirer par la poussière (voir photos). Beaucoup de nuisances sonores en journée comme la nuit car les cloisons sont très fines. Il est indiquer que l’établissement est engagé pour l’environnement cela vous contera de dormir dans des draps salle. La vérité c’est une passoire thermique ce bâtiment avec aucune isolation, des grilles pain qui font office de radiateur et des ouvertures pas plus grande qu’une feuille A2. Toujours pas eu de remboursement pour tous les désagréments.
