"This was a HORRIBLE place to stay. We waited over an hour and 30-mins for the person to show up with the key and walk us through the apartment. We missed our dinner reservation which was a celebration.
The apartment had 2 working heaters yet we used 3 bedrooms. There was a light blanket and sheet for the bed. The beds needed blankets! My children and I slept in our coats. In the middle of the night the heater went out. We called, messaged, and text the owner who did not return...

"The noise was well dampened by the windows but being right in the middle of the action is going to invite more noise than a mountain lodge.
The decor is over the top just like you want. The bar downstairs had good action and decently priced drinks. The restaurant choice is excellent, the market is great for lunch and sangria. Bus & trains station are a short walk."

"This was a very charming apartment in a nice, walkable area of town. The directions to the apartment and how to get in were very accurate. It is true that the stairs are steep. The many rooms make it easy to stay with family. The dining table was nice for playing cards. The area has a lot of restaurants and bars. There is a nice view of the river from the top floor.
