"The exterior was in good shape, but the room was dirty and in serious need of a major upgrade. The desk was designed more to prevent robbery and the clerk had only fair command of English. I shared to room with at least one roach. I paid for two nights but one was enough and I left. The location is only close to I65 and nothing else. I had read that the motel had recently been rehabilitated -- but if so apparently they skipped my room."

"The rooms were pretty small but worked for us as we were passing through. They are remodeling the facilities. The beds were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure which we never have anywhere else we've stayed. The breakfast was my only complaint. There was not much food when we went down, and there was nobody there restocking and I had to go get someone for assistance and after that the food was still cold.
