"This is a beautiful property with lovely apartments of various sizes. Below, I will describe the problem we encountered, but want to emphasize that the management of Club Wyndham took excellent care of us. I couldn't recommend them higher.
OK, here goes. The day we checked in, we were informed that the property was having a WiFi issue, an issue which persisted through all of Day 2. It was inconvenient, but not overly so. Then on the morning of Day 3, we awoke to a serious plumbing problem. Apparently, the fiber optics guy had accidentally punctured the sewer line. We couldn't use any of the plumbing in our unit, which meant no toilet and no shower.
We had to drive to the main office to use the office restroom. We weren't angry, but we were a bit distressed, because we were missing our morning activity. But this sort of thing could happen anywhere and it in no way reflects any carelessness on the part of the Club Wyndham management.
At the front desk, we were offered two options: 1) go find something else to do for three hours while the crew finished the repair and aired out our unit (it smelled like sewer), or 2) move to another unit. Both solutions were inconvenient, but we figured that if we could move, we could get back to our plans more quickly. The management very kindly offered us a massive upgrade, so we spent the rest of our vacation in a lakeside unit with a balcony--which we couldn't have afforded on our own dime. Best part of our trip! Thank you"
