「I've already bragged on the staff (thanks Erin Hartery & staff) We checked in (after 12 noon & left the resort @ 7pm) on the same day. Enough said on that. We are awaiting a refund for our second day of unused stay which pm mgr Erin will be adeptly handling. One thing to remember: "things happen BEYOND the hotel's control...but the SERVICE RECOVERY is what the guest walks away with...in the end, AND DRIVES A RETURN VISIT.」

「Everything was perfect.. clean and comfortable. Host responded quickly when I had questions. Bonus… was able to top off my Plug in Hybrid.. Nice to start off with an extra 50 electric miles when heading home… There is a Tiki bar diagonally across the street. Was traveling with a 4 year old and immediately had concerns with loud music… but no issue as we had a room just in the front door to the right.. once both doors were closed we didn’t hear any of the music. Everything worked and we all...

「Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff, parking was great and plenty of spots and rooms were very clean. Had no issues and would stay again when in town visiting family.」

「Huge, clean room, but with an unpleasant odor, possibly marijuana. We appreciated the large refrigerator and convenient parking. The pool lacked privacy. Breakfast was very disappointing—we were given two granola bars.」

「Hotel manager said this was an apt not a hotel? I stayed over a month and Housekeeping came twice. They gave us a hard time asking for towels and toilet paper and using the brooms and mops. I though this was a long stay hotel?」

「The pictures in the add were false. There weren’t any gardens or suites. This is a bare bones motel. It is clean but there are no amenities. There is a coffee pot but no coffee. There was a refrigerator but no ice cube trays. One towel and one washcloth per guest and a teeny bar of soap. No one in the office —had to call a number and then someone came to give you your key. Steep outside steps if your room was on the second floor. The only mirror was above the sink. Very disappointed.」

「From check in to check out this place was great. I met the owners when checking in and I’m pretty sure I made new friends for life. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Sitting right on the beach, I’m not sure how you find a better place than Tuckaway.」

「This was true old florida! What a remarkable stay with a treasureful of sweet surprises in how attentive and calming this resort is. I am so pleased that I have found this wonderful hide-a-way and will absolutely return. It is not your usual place but if you value authenticity and charm then this would be the place for you.
