"I absolutely loved everything about this place! Although there is no staff physically on site, communication through the app was excellent. The staff was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions that made everything incredibly easy, from check-in to the entire stay. The room was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed. The appliances were modern and top-notch, including a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and stove. It truly felt like everything had been thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay. My favorite part was how peaceful and quiet it was. The air conditioning was wonderful and kept the room perfectly comfortable, allowing me to sleep so peacefully and restfully. This has honestly been one of the best places I’ve stayed so far. I wish there were more hotels like this everywhere around the world. Clean, quiet, comfortable, modern, and incredibly convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Lugano was such a special part of our trip, and staying at LUGANODANTE made it even better. I would 100% stay here again. "A four-star boutique hotel with the standards of a five-star property. The rooms and restaurant are definitely five-star quality. The pool is large and never too crowded, and there is also a small beach if you want to swim in the lake. Just bear in mind that the hotel is not easy to reach. You either need to drive your own car or arrange a car service. For example, the fare from the hotel to Milan is €240. Local buses are very crowded and can be almost impossible to board."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Funicolare. We stayed in a family room, which was absolutely massive, with plenty of space for all of us and a very comfortable stay. The views were amazing and really added to the experience. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening and breakfast during our stay. The menu was varied, with plenty of choice, and everything we had was enjoyable. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming, but Luana at reception deserves a special mention. She was incredibly kind and helpful. We had unfortunately made a mistake when booking and selected the wrong dates, but Luana was so gracious and understanding and went out of her way to help us resolve the issue. Her kindness made a stressful situation so much easier. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Funicolare. Spacious rooms, beautiful views, good food and genuinely wonderful staff."
