「We stayed 4 nights at Hotel San Francisco in Cala Gonone and overall had a really nice experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants, and more. The only downside was that on one morning (around 8:45) the scrambled eggs were finished and they told us they wouldn’t make more, which was a bit disappointing. 「Stunning views, but that’s what you’re paying for. To be honest the place has great potential but it’s super worn down and not taken care of. Maybe it’s because we visited during off season but the furniture/couches outside were both dirty and broken, the rooms were ok clean, but low standard with things breaking and iffy heating. You will struggle if you don’t speak Italian as the personell barely speak English. It’s not 24/7 reception so we had issues at 01 am with people from the camping...

「Wundervolles Anwesen inmitten eines Olivenhaines und zwischen Weinreben. Schlafen und Aufwachen auf dem sardischen Land. Kleines gemütliches Anwesen, sehr nette und engagierte Betreiber*innen, geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtete Zimmer, alles vorhanden, und wenn etwas fehlte, so konnte man die Besitzer*innen jederzeit ansprechen. My only two criticisms are pushy receptionists trying to up-sell “extras” on check-in and, if staying over a weekend, check whether or not they have a wedding on because this is a popular wedding venue and wedding parties tend to takeover the hotel.」

「The staff were very friendly and welcomed us verbally in and out of the hotel creating a calm atmosphere. The cleanliness was exceptional as windowsills and window casements were cleaned regularly. Floors were polished even though there is an inherent dust outside due to the dry environment all around.
