Wonderful welcome drink and cool towel. Fabulous garden with plenty of shade and privacy. A lovely farewell with the staff singing a goodbye song.
Would recommend for families and groups as the hotel is well set up for groups
Really nice hotel and nice breakfast. We stayed for two nights and were satisfied with the big room nice beds. TV works well and large shower and restroom. Great deal for the price.

it was nice and clean. the staff were friendly and helpful. wouldn't mind staying there again.
The hotel was great for us overall, though it could use a bit of a refresh as it’s starting to feel a little dated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the swimming pool, conveniently located right outside our villa, was a highlight of our stay. This hotel was truly amazing when it first opened, and we would love to see it restored with some updates to bring it back to its full potential.

Loved our stay at the Orator. The staff were so kind. Our dinner was delivered to our room. The breakfasts were great too. The staff were so helpful, as we had left some belongings in our taxi, and they put extra effort into assisting us.
As for the property itself, its beautiful. However, it does need some TLC. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay!

There is a long driveway from the road that leads to the hotel property however there are no road side signs telling you where to turn in so even with GPS it's easy to miss.
Bad connection and service inside room. Couldn't get good reception while on the internet. Breakfast waited for over half and hour just to be served with two eggs two small pan cakes and two sausages and we were the only people waited for breakfast

My family and I stayed at Orator Hotel in Villa 5, which sleeps four. The villa was nice and comfortable, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were lovely, especially Joseph, whose friendliness really stood out.
However, several issues made our stay disappointing. The bathroom needs attention — the shower was either extremely hot or freezing cold with no in-between, and the water pressure was very poor.
Breakfast was nice, but for the first three days we had no idea that eggs could be cooked to order. Staff didn’t mention it, and there was no sign displayed. We only found out from another guest, and were later told a sign should have been there.
We had lunch at the hotel during the first couple of days but didn’t return after waiting nearly two hours each time for our food. We later learned the delay was because staff were preparing a private buffet for the owner and their friends while paying guests were left waiting. That felt rude and unfair.
The place also needs major refurbishing and maintenance. The pool had missing and loose tiles, which is hazardous. My brother even had to move rooms due to a leaking ceiling. There are also what feels like a thousand pot plants everywhere, making the space look cluttered and overwhelming.
Overall, it was a hit-and-miss experience, and we would not return or recommend it to family and friends. Sorry Orator but you need to do better!!!
The entrance and reception area of the hotel was impressive but as you walked into the property, the walkways were in need of repair, the rooms were tired and the most disappointing of all was that the swimming pools were out of order and had been for some time (water was green, unlike the pictures on Expedia). The surrounding gardens were nice though and the staff were really nice and tried their best to make us welcome. The food was better than expected, with buffet breakfast included.
