「Very friendly staff」

「It’s an old house and very well maintained it may be warmer than a new hotel but the overall experience makes up for it. Room was clean,the inn keeper was very helpful. And the house was quiet had convenient parking. Had a great time and definitely plan on going back.」

「Although the property is old, it is well-maintained. The room had a slight musty odor when we opened the door , but after running the A/C for an hour or so, the odor was pretty much gone. However, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful..very accommodating and helpful.」

「Very nice hotel as far as the common areas and the restaurant for dinner (not breakfast with $19 for a salmon bagel, more expensive than Miami) but the rooms and staff are terrible. Had 3 sleepless nights because of guests and what they called children running around worse than animals above us. Called multiple times to change rooms or have them quiet them down. 「The room was clean and very convenient to downtown Apalachicola. The only major issues were that the AC did not work the entire time of our stay and we were locked out of the main entrance. We reported the AC problem and never received a call back or response. The digital lock had to be reset and finally we were able to access our room to check out.」

「Definitely not worth the price we paid ($130/night). The staff was nice, but how do you not have a commercial icemaker on site. We had no ice for the entirety of the stay and nothing was offered to help make up for it. Kind of insane considering it is a hotel practically on the beach, but doesn’t offer ice. There was also a weird vibration sound that could be heard in our room that kept me awake. We stayed here four years ago and had a vastly different experience. Not sure what has changed...
