I am not sure whether this is rated as 3 star or 4 star hotel but I would rate it as 3 star hotel. It is good value for money. It is not central but it is very easy to walk into the old town (5-10mins) and the parking is no problem at all. The room sizes are good for a city hotel and their amenities are reasonable. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the buffet breakfasts were good and the restaurant comfortable. However in my view the use of dark colours throughout the hotel is oppressive and the rooms can be stuffy if the windows are not open or without air conditioning. Not sure whether the stuffiness is due to the heating, or the need to freshen the décor in the rooms. We did have a problem in two of the rooms with the showers running cold quite early in the morning (7.15)
