"This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. "Carlos....Carlos...Carlos....a fabulous host!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Guimaraes. Staying at Dom Jose was perfect...location, access to the garden area in the back, breakfast in the morning and oh did I mention Carlos. He was incredibly helpful with information about the city, restaurants, etc. We did have two rooms...one had a very spacious bathroom, the other was more of a closet so ask for the room with the big bath! "

"I had a very pleasant stay here during my trip to Portugal. The space was very clean, comfortable, and felt safe throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the amenities provided — there was a dishwasher and a washing machine with laundry pods available, which was incredibly convenient because I was able to do my laundry during my trip. The kitchen also had plates, glasses, and pots available for use. The only small downside was that there were no utensils, but this was a very minor issue compared to everything else the place offered. It was also in walking distance to a lot of places. Overall, the apartment was well maintained, good value for the money, and truly felt like a home away from home. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily stay again."
