For the price it is well worth it.

For the price in the Central location. This place is perfect. It’s a neat old building. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This place helped me save money and be right downtown. Our room was extremely clean and we had none of the concerns that I saw in comments from other people. I would stay here again. Get churros snd chocolate across the street for breakfast at the Hotel Castilla. They really do them well.

Unfortunately a bad experience.... very untidy

The service at the reception was incredible, rafael is amazing host. Unfortunately the room... filthy doesnt do justice.. As soon as we walk into the room we are hit by the humid like heavy smell, the dust on all areas on the room was very very visible (how can they miss that), the floor looked it has never seen a mop.... the worse of all The bathroom... mouldy walls, hairs on the walls, sink, shower and bidet... disgusting... The bed was a springs mattress and frame. Wife and i ended up sinking in the middle of the bed. Our window gave away to a patio, which i went to smoke and even with thw curtains and blinds (wood) down i could stil see inside..

Quelle deception.. A l'arrivee, nous avons pu entrer dans l'immeuble seulement parce que la porte etait restee ouverte par megarde.. personne n'a repondu a l interphone .. et pour cause, a sur la porte du 1er etage, un mot pour aller chercher la clé a une autre adresse ... pas pratique quand on est tres chargé.. Accueil moyen Le descriptif annoncait une chambre (triple) de 25m2 .. je ne sais meme pas si elle fait 12m2 ! Il y fait froid , et le chauffage semble faire un peu de chaud, mais a debit si lent Ue je ne sais meme pas si on aura gagné 1 degré en jne nuit (et nous sommes au 31/12 et il neige ..) On pensait avoir pris une chambre agréable ou se reposer entre les visites au chaud en cette periode, et je crois qu'en fait, on va tout faire pour la fuir pendant nos 3 jours à Grenade !!! La salle d'eau est exigue, douche petite avec rideau pas hygienique .. rien pour poser ses affaires de toilette.. Les murs sont fins comme des feuilles de papier, on entend des occupants qui sont pas a coté du tout.. Bref, fuyez !

Pay a little more to find a better place to sleep

In the beautiful and twisting city of Antequera, lies this special and twisting Hostal Colon. Reception has open all night – this is the most positive thing to say about this hostal. We arrived in the middle of the night, got checked in and went to our room – the door was already open, which was strange. The bedding had a large yellow plumage and there was black dirt spread over the bedding. Generally it did not seem very clean and even the toilet board was dirty. The room was warm and we therefore looked for the remote control for air conditioning, but after going through the whole room without finding it, we went to the front desk and asked for help - he was looking for approx. 45 minutes throughout the house after the remote control, but gave up and we had to sleep in a very warm room. The hotel is very noisy and it is difficult to sleep with people making noise in the hallways and kids screaming. We found the following to be incorrect from the hotel advertisement: • Multilingual staff (they did not speak and understand English) • In-room climate control / air conditioning (not working without remote control) • Premium bedding + Memory foam mattress (a very old bed) • Outdoor tennis court (we couldn’t find it and no pictures shows it) • Free nearby parking (receptionist told us via Google Translate, that free parking did not exist) As there was no free parking nearby as promised, be found a free parking lot about 1 km away at the street “Calle Virgen del Carmen”.
