Cindy, the host, was available at any time responding to any questions we had. Overall great experience and relaxing stay. Airport right around the corner."

"Clean room, lovely staff, stunning beach view, tasty breakfast, giant beds and aircon - what do you need more? The only small thing was that the pressure in the toilet was not top-notch, so we had to flush multiple times to get rid of a small piece of toilet paper. But this was a super minor „inconvenience“, which was masked by all the positive things we had there! Would definitely recommended and visit again! "

"We loved this hotel, which was recently refurbished. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating and were able to make excellent vegetarian food available to us. The room was spacious with a wonderful terrace overlooking the ocean, which is just a few yards away. There is also a lovely pool. "The room was boiling hot and wouldn’t let us keep the AC on. Bed was terribly firm, felt like sleeping on a wood board. Ants got into all of our food and medicine. Neighbors were loud and you could hear them walking above and next door. WiFi/tv was not working. "

"The Coco de Mer is a unique hotel; small, about 50 suites set on a lovely private beach. The photograph shown here is out of date, the facilities are prettier than those shown. The best feature has to be the staff who have been here for years, happy in their work They feel like friends, you are so well looked after. Have a cocktail and watch the sun go down to the call of the doves."

"Great location to our favorite beach Côte d’Or, 50m walk to the beach. Great budget friendly option. Spacious 2 bedroom for the three of us. Basic kitchen utensils but had sugar and tea. Only instant coffee. Big TV’s in each room. We liked sitting out on the veranda listening to the waves. "

"We stayed at Islander Hotel for 5 nights. While check-in was pleasant, the overall experience was disappointing for the price. Cleanliness was poor — rooms were only cleaned every other day, and there were no housekeeping staff regularly present. The receptionist was friendly at first but largely unhelpful afterward. We weren’t informed that water supply stops during the night. While we understand the water scarcity in Seychelles, most hotels have water storage solutions — this one did not. There were also insects and reptiles in the villa, which made the stay uncomfortable. The restaurant had very limited variety and hardly any guests, so we often had to cook ourselves or travel far to find decent food. The lighting inside the villa was extremely dim, creating a gloomy and depressing atmosphere in the evenings. We didn’t feel especially welcome overall, and guest support seemed minimal. The beach shown in photos isn’t usable due to strong currents, so we had to travel daily to other beaches. The property has potential but is poorly managed. It feels like the owner is absent and the current team is disengaged. We definitely overpaid and wouldn’t recommend this place in its current state"
