"Well, you can look at the place as desperately being in need of a renovation...or being charmingly retro. Being charmingly retro ourselves, we choose that. Think of it as being in a time capsule from the 80's. That being said, the staff was excellent, the rooms surprisingly spacious, and all the public spaces were very well maintained. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of downtown. Would we stay there again? Absolutely."

The other special thing is that the place is very 1940s cool, an actual midcentury modern resort built by William Cody (with modern updates of course) They have a free continental breakfast at their sister property next door."
