Central - safe - wonderful hotel

A very nice hotel - placed very central. The security is in top - safety for the guests has obviously top priority. Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast were excellent and comprises many Turkish specialities. We will definitely choose this Hotel again.

I booked the room for my wife for two nights. Despite the reservation, she didn’t stay any of the nights due to the strong and lingering cigarette smell. Luckily, she has friends in the area and ultimately stayed with them. She pretty much used the room just to leave her stuff. Will never book here again.

Dirty carpets and not very clean

This is second hotel I stayed in Ankara recently, because I wanted to be close to this locality near Tunali Hilmi street for few days. However I don’t think quality of this hotel qualify for 4 star. More like 2 star. Location perspective it was good restaurants etc….however when you enter inside the hotel it smells like a cheap parfumerie to hide the smells from old and dirty carpets. Carpets In rooms were also very dirty and didn’t smell clean. Bathroom was clean and well kept. There were no robes for a 4 star hotel … well we were in Metropolitan hotel right before moving to this hotel so our expectations and cleanliness and amazing customer service that we received there definitely compared in this Holiday in. If you don’t have to be in this location I don’t recommend holiday inn, for this price you have better and cleaner options in Ankara.
