「We booked a family room for 2 nights, it was on the third floor without elevator but the owner was trying to help us to carry our luggage. I saw them tried to help every customer. The room was actually on the rooftop, half space for room and half space for resting. The table and chairs placed outside so you could and you only could eat outside. Location is good and the owbers were superb. 」

「We stumbled across this retreat almost by accident and it was the highlight of our trip to Greece. We’ve traveled the entire country and seen the most amazing places but the Ambelona Retreat is in its a class of its own. From the amazing service from our host George, to the phenomenal views and architecture, this place can only be described as magical. We will 100% be back and I can’t wait. Thank you!!」

「Great place with amazing views! Elena, the owner, was lovely but doesn't speak English. We managed with a few words each, a bit of sign language and a lot of Google translate. Rooms are perhaps unusual in decor but very comfortable and lots of choice for breakfast - particularly good omelette cooked freshly by Elena. Good tavernas within walking distance. Fabulous walking with the menalon trail. Very quiet and peaceful. And did I mention the views!」
