"The best part of this hotel is the location and the staff. The Customer Service service is wonderful. The location is right behind the cathedral so it’s right in the midst of el centro histórico. The breakfast is wonderful with a lot if selection. The downside is the noise. I requested a room change after night 1 because if you’re on the atreet aide, thw windows are not double paned so you hear everything. And they have a lounge on the 7th floor open to the public so there’s noisey people at times."
"Overall, it was a nice experience. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was friendly. However, the bathroom could have been cleaner. Improving the bathroom cleaning would make the overall experience even better."
"Rooms were clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Good AC system and nice shower. Great transportation options. Taxis or just a 12 minute walk to Metro station."
"Our stay at the Marriott in Quito was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The staff was incredibly professional, courteous, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived until our departure. Everyone was helpful and genuinely made us feel welcome.
The entire property was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, including the lobby, common areas, and lovely koi ponds. We upgraded our room to include Executive Lounge access, which was absolutely worth it. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and our room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and well organized. We especially loved the balcony and the amazing views of Quito.
Housekeeping was also exceptional, with great attention to detail each day. The bed was large and comfortable, and the room was very quiet, making it easy to relax and sleep well.
My only small suggestion would be softer bedsheets, as they felt a little rough. Aside from that minor detail, we truly had no complaints.
I would 100% recommend the Marriott Quito for families, business travelers, couples, or anyone visiting the city. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, great food, and genuinely friendly staff made our stay memorable. We would absolutely stay here again!"
