"Large room and convenient location. Good parking and helpful staff. The ocean view room overlooked the top of another building but otherwise was good."
"The manager, Heidi, was very very helpful in resolving an issue with our reservation. She made everything better, upgraded our room and was gracious throughout. The room had incredible views, high quality toiletries, and plenty of room and beautifully furnished. Free and ample parking as well. The hotel restaurant has a great menu. We had the elk and bison meatloaf and it was delicious. I highly recommend a meal at the Land's End even if you do not stay there. Best food on the Spit. Drinks at the bar were fun. You cannot match the location and view. You can walk the Spit and then walk to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Land's End."
"Some how I ended up with this room, with a balcony. I never planned on this, I purchased a pair of Cl companion 8x30 binoculars to take somewhere and I ended up here, with a balcony, overlooking Kachemak Bay. They shared how they kept up the grounds for “US” I realized what water I use, goes 20 yards. It’s a fishing lodge. That’s before you fish. You’re in a pristine environment that eagles use to hunt. It’s a beautiful and comfortable place however you could possibly see it, as you settle in, and fish.
I’m already making my plans to stay, Alaska is where I’m actually from and this is what I got."
"Great location, funky suite layout, but had all the necessities. I really appreciated the good WIFI, black-out drapes, and plenty of clean towels. The owner was very kind and helpful. BONUS I loved seeing all the bunny rabbits everywhere."
"For an older property, it looks to be well maintained. Beds were very comfortable! Might be time for a little upgrade. I suspect this is a busy hotel with LOTS of travelers."
"The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking, but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. Inside the cabin all the stairs are very steep and at odd angles. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The views from inside and out are amazing. You feel like you are much farther from the road then you are, loved that. The place was clean and quiet. Check in and out very easy, didn't meet a single person the entire time."
"We like everything about this property! We travel extensively and I really believe this host offered the “little” details possible. A small candy dish, a booklet full of local information, soft towels, make up towels, nice shower heads, coffee products, etc…. We enjoyed the balcony, recliners and soft bed. Nearby float planes coming and going did make noise that could bother some, but we know those sounds are the price of adventure for others, overall this is a great place to stay!"
