We stayed in what was called the “modern” suite, a kitsch and garishly designed suite that was a far cry from “modern” in today’s standards. Where it really fell short was the experience and service. 「我们是两家好友结伴出行，来到温馨可爱的皮克顿小镇，是为了乘坐跨海轮渡去北岛。在盖维旅馆预定了两卧室套房住宿一晚，价格十分实惠，性价比很高。旅馆的居住条件也超出我们的预期。套房很宽敞，厨房用具很齐全，管理人员很友善，第二天我们一早就离开了，管理人员还没上班，我们只需把钥匙放入柜台门口的钥匙盒，就算是退房了，这使我们感受到，这里人与人的关系是建立在相互信任的基础之上，十分好的入住体验。」

「The room we were in, James Cook, was wonderful. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, with a lovely deck. It was also great to have breakfast provided each day. Steffan and Michelle are fantastic hosts. Warm, proactive, helpful, and fun. I highly, highly recommend this place.」

「For what this is (a cabin in a campervan park), it was excellent. The cabin was private, clean, and quiet. There's obviously no view and the amenities are all shared (shared bathroom/toilets/showers, shared communal area) but everything was in pretty good/decent shape. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel but it's not pretending to be that. For the value and what you pay for (and for just one night where you're getting in fairly late and leaving somewhat early), it's excellent. 」

「In no way this is a 5 star resort. Completely overpriced for the level of services provided. Staff members were all polite but definitely not well trained and transactional, food very mediocre. Spectacular location. This resort is priced at the level of an Aman or Mandarin Oriental-type property and it is very far away from that. Very disappointing for the price we paid. 」

「It is in a beautiful location - stunning view. There was plenty of activities to do, it is well-equipped - we enjoyed the paddle boarding, but the room was much more dated than the website photos appeared and we had mixed experience with the staff - a few seemed reluctant to interact. You only have one choice of restaurant but the food was really good - dinner and breakfast」
