Holiday Inn Express Bellingham by IHG

"This hotel was okay, the room was clean, but the noise at this hotel is pretty bad. The plumbing is very noisy, you can hear every toilet flush and shower run, the rooms are also not very soundproof at all, all night i could hear people walking around, car horns when people where locking their cars, people talking in the hallway. The beds were okay for comfort, definitely indented where people sleep. The pool was okay but pretty cold, and the hot tub needs to be deep cleaned. The best part of our stay was the breakfast, they do have probably the best hotel breakfast ive ever had at a hotel. I was bummed that the gym was not actually part of the hotel, they partner with a gym located outside of the hotel which is inconvenient. Overall the stay was mediocre, the breakfast made up for the mediocre experience."

"We chose this place as it had great reviews and close to the ferry. The views are amazing. Our room was freshly painted but furniture was tired. A couple outlets didn’t work which was frustrating and we could hear every step from guests above us. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The mattresses were super comfy which is the most important part of my stay at a hotel. All that to be said, we would recommend this place and choose to stay again."

"Room was modern and spacious. The breakfast options were decent. Two waffle makers were a nice touch. The challenge is turning into the entrance and the odd parking, but I would definitely stay here again. The town's easy traffic was refreshing after Seattle!"

"Not having someone in the office until 1:00 PM was inconvenient. Comfortable chairs but badly worn. Property looks a bit run down. There was a spider hanging in the shower window, you would think they would get that when they cleaned the shower."

"This is not a luxury accommodation, so you will be disappointed if you are expecting that. We stayed overnight and our room, while small and basic, was very clean. A microwave and mini fridge were provided. The grounds were well tended. I would definitely stay again."
