Excellent breakfast with many options, staff always available for any questions or requests, very comfortable bed and pillows, clean rooms, fast elevators, convenient location, good snacks and drinks in lobby shop. For a similar price, was much better experience than the nearby Ibis hotel.

Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam
Beautiful spacious room and bathroom. We absolutely loved this hotel! Breakfast had something for every diet and taste! We also had dinner at the hotel one night which was excellent as well. Perfect location and pool sauna gym also wonderful! Look no further!

That the hotel is very well located is absolutely the only positive aspect about it. After one has dragged one’s luggage up a short but inconvenient set of stairs the reality of where one has booked rapidly sets in. Weird hotel. Rooms feel like dorm rooms. They are not big enough for more than one person. We had a king size bed but it's jammed in between the two walls and you have to crawl over each other to get in and out. The bed base is dirty and stained. I don't think they look at the edge against the wall ...
