I have stayed twice at the hotel now and I would return. This is not the fanciest of hotels and it does not offer a lot of amenities. It does offer a clean, comfortable bed to sleep in at an affordable price in a very convenient & central area of Amsterdam.

What a gem I found 😊 Location was great, and the staff was amazing!! Very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. The room was neat, and renewed. There are nearby cafes, restaurants, and a convenience store. I’d totally stay there again, thanks!!

The hotel was very nice and charming, newly remodeled rooms very clean and quiet. The staff was also very nice and friendly. I was looking for something affordable, clean, quiet and central location and this was just that. I like staying in places with a bit of older charm so I didn’t mind the slow lift just was happy there was a lift as the stairs were crazy steep! A fan was provided in the rooms which I appreciate too. I genuinely don’t understand all the negative reviews, it was a nice stay, the bathrooms all have new appliances, new beds and new flooring and it was very quiet and clean.

My stay was just okay. The location is great, the room was adequate and the staff are friendly. However, the lack of AC, a fridge and an extremely slow elevator made my trip less enjoyable as the heat became a daily struggle I had to deal with. The beds could also use some upgrades. If you’re on a budget and want to be relatively close to the city center, then I’d recommend trying this place out though if you want something a bit more comfortable, I’d suggest looking around.

Great hotel staff helpful and friendly. Only thing was the noise we were in the room by the door so heard people coming and going and a lot of chatting until the early hours on our first night. But otherwise the hotel was fab couldn’t fault it.
