Dear Sarah: Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. It is unfortunate that the city of Amsterdam doesn't allow for traffic stops directly in front of the hotel. However, there is a spot less than 1/2 a block away where Ubers and taxis are allowed to pull over and wait. Regardless we are sorry to learn that you were inconvenienced by this. It is very much appreciated if guests who have mobility issues let us know in advance so that we can be certain to put them to a lower floor. Of course if you are a late arrival and you have not informed us in advance of your needs we are unable to change the room. The room you were assigned has 4 windows that open and once opened the room is quite cool. Housekeepers are instructed to close the windows because of the possibility of rain. All of these issues aside we are sorry to hear of your disappointment and hope that you are able to enjoy the rest of your stay in Europe.
