The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The restaurant/ bar area and the continental breakfast were also top notch. The room was very clean and neat. We were only there for less than 18 hours as we had a hospital appointment, but would stay again if the need arises.

Well situated. Room clean and comfortable. The only thing, there is a smell in the room, which was not good for my allergie to perfum. I think it's the carpet.

Although a bit dated in some respects, recent renovations are evident. The room was clean, the bed comfortable although a Queen would have been appreciated rather than a Double. The continental breakfast had great hours for those on the road early (5:30am). The room was affordable and priced accordingly. The Chinese buffet next door was excellent. The exterior (front) was paved however the rooms at the back were off a laneway which is narrow and largely unkept. The back was gravel with overgrown grass and plenty of potholes. The hill is steep so be careful if you have a vehicle with a low chassis. The step and back porch need some TLC as some of the boards are split. If I rated the overall experience a positive, is that for the price the accommodations were better than expected. The hotel is also within walking distance to the hotel and for this visit it was our primary reason for being in the area.
