"The resort is beautiful and the casita was very well laid out. The only negative about the room was the couch and chairs were pretty uncomfortable. Also, be aware the casitas have several steps going between living room and kitchen; kitchen and bedroom, and then bedroom and bathroom, so be careful of tripping. Also, the web site does state it, but you have to look, during slow season the indoor restaurant is closed, so the only option is the pool bar or driving the golf cart to another location which is going to be as close as 10 minutes or as far as 30."

"A Great Way to Experience San Pedro, Belize! We really enjoyed our stay at Sandbar Hotel & Hostel! We’ve been to Belize before, and we love experiencing the island in a way that feels relaxed and authentic rather than staying somewhere that feels completely removed from the local experience. One thing we really liked about Sandbar is that it offers both hotel and hostel accommodations, so there’s a little something for different types of travelers. Even though we stayed in the hotel, we loved having access to the amenities that make the hostel experience so convenient. There’s a shared kitchen/common area where you can prepare your own food, which is a huge plus if you’re staying for a while or want to save a little money by cooking some meals yourself. They even have laundry facilities, which is especially convenient when you're traveling and don't want to pack your entire closet! 😂 And then there’s the fun side of Sandbar/ the rooftop pool and bar! It’s such a great place to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere after spending the day exploring San Pedro. The Caribbean is literally steps away, so you really get that island experience. And we have to mention the people and the food. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the food was SO good. We had some really delicious meals and definitely left talking about what we ate! The location is another big plus. You’re close to everything, but you still get that laid-back island feeling."

"Adult Only!! PUR is located close enough to everything but far enough to be out of hustle and bustle of San Pedro. They staff is very friendly and get to know you by name. It’s a very casual and vibrant experience. The cabanas offer a sufficient amount to privacy and with all the amenities you could possibly need. You can hide in the cabana or relax in the hammock on the porch. Food and drinks were always good!! The pool located the bar is perfect for swimming up and enjoying a nice cocktail. The staff aims to ensure you’re enjoying your stay comfortably."

"Fantasy island for real…the staff is attentive from the restaurant, the bar, the reception, the concierge to maintenance. They are all professionals. It is beautiful and they all ensure they say your name. Exactly what you want on an island getaway. And the trees sing beautifully."
