This is one of those you get what you paid for. Mid June, 2 triple rooms in Amalfi for a total of $1,500. The best thing was the shower/ bathroom.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that customer service was not a priority here. There was no proper reception desk, and checking in felt disorganized and unwelcoming. The staff were noticeably unfriendly and unhelpful. When we asked for extra towels, we were met with resistance and eventually denied — a basic request that any decent hotel should be able to accommodate. To make matters worse, the air conditioning in our room was barely functioning. Despite bringing it to their attention, no effort was made to fix it or offer an alternative. This made for an extremely uncomfortable stay, especially during the hot summer nights. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. With so many great places to stay, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

The hotel only allows check-in for very limited time frame and if you don’t arrive during that time, then you cannot check in, and they don’t care. The Manager is not on site and the person who is there is the cleaner, is only there for a limited time during the day, speaks very little English so she is not really able to assist with any requests or problems. We were greeted by her shaking a finger at us, yelling “no, no, no!” When we said we were there to check in. We had to get our taxi driver to help translate and she told us we were not their guests and we were st the wrong hotel. (we were at the correct place). Then she telephoned the Manager wiho said things were confusing due to some problem with another guest but that we were st the correct hotel. Although the property description said there was an elevator, when I asked I was told “no”, after insisting, the cleaner.put our suitcases into a tiny elevator (no people) and sent them upstairs. The property description also said breakfast was available but when we asked the next morning the cleaner said “no!”,, repeatedly pointed out the door and said “Bar there”, indicating a building down the road. All in all, although the room was okay and the balcony did have a nice view of the water, we found the hotel poorly managed and very unwelcoming.

A pior estadia que eu já tive até hoje na vida. Era como se tivesse fazendo um favor para as pessoas. Não tem staff na recepção, eles deixam o elevador desligado. Mesmo eu tenho um filho e tinha que descer com o carrinho de bebe todos os dias pela escada.
