「Had a lovely stay for 2 nights at the Red Lion. The owners and the team and extremely friendly and helpful and added to the enjoyment of our stay. The breakfast each day was brilliant, with lots of choices to suit everyone. The room was nice and we all found the beds very comfortable. The location is in a really nice, peaceful and quaint little village, which is really nice to walk around and look at the historic buildings and lots of thatched roofed cottages.」

「What a lovely little find. 5 mins off the M1, but set in the grounds of an old vicarage and very quiet and tranquil. Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. 「Friendly place and lovely setting. A good location for us. Food was gorgeous and really reasonable. Lovely breakfast. Staff were really helpful and chatty. Great value for money! Only down side was there was no lift. Stairs a little steep - I travelled with my mum who is in her 80’s and she found the stairs a little hard. 」
