A stylish hotel in beautiful surroundings. We loved staying here as it is well presented and comfortable. We were made to feel v welcome. Alvin went out of his way to make sure we had a brilliant evening and the cooking by Nina was excellent. Local produce, tasty and felt like home cooked food of top restaurant standard. Would highly recommend.

This was a beautiful property. It was really peacefull and we enjoyed how cute and nice the cabins were. The food was good, although you do need to make sure it's available and reserve each day. I wish the sauna and hot tub were included or a much cheaper price. You definitely need a car to get around and we didn't see any obvious hiking trails from the property.

Best part of a week in the North of Norway

The stay at Bjørnfjell Lodge was outstanding. The cabins are very nice, the food is excellent and the staff was so helpful - it made our stay a lot more relaxed. Even when it rained one morning, just sitting in the nook of the bay window of the cabin, looking down into the valley below, was soooo relaxing'.

Alta is a great destination within the Artic circle It is the ideal base for a day trip to the North Cape and the town has lots of history. The surrounding countryside is truly stunning. Bjornfjell offers superb and ultramodern lodges which are perfect for families. Highly recommended

The lodge was clean, quiet, and warm, with good Wi-Fi and an easy check-in. However, there was no soap provided upon arrival, which was disappointing. We booked partly because of the photos showing a jacuzzi, but it turned out this was only available for one specific cabin – something that wasn’t clearly explained. The lodge felt impersonal and lacked privacy, making it unsuitable for couples. We also didn’t eat at the restaurant because the prices were simply too high. Overall, not good value for the money unless you’re here strictly for skiing and just need a place to sleep.

Die Lodge ist perfekt, wenn man nicht ein klassisches Hotel sucht. Die Idee ist, dass man sich wie in einer norwegischen Hütte fühlt. Als Gast kann man jederzeit im Restaurant oder am Kamin entspannen, ein Kaffee oder Tee trinken und auf die fantastische Landschaft schauen. Die Lodge bietet eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten – eigentlich alles, was es besonderes in Nord Norwegen gibt. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und organisiert jederzeit Transporte oder Events. Für Abfahrtsskifahrer und Langläufer gibt es Pisten, die direkt am Haus beginnen. Einfach klasse.

Unser Zimmer war sehr schön. Das Hotel Bjornfell Lodge lädt zum verteilen ein es war sehr entspannt und die Gastgeber und das gesamte Team waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir hatten gemeinsam eine sehr schöne Zeit. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen bis Bald;-)

Alt var fantastisk

Vi hadde et nydelig opphold på bjørnfjell mountain lodge. De ansatte var svært hyggelige og imøtekommende. Det var rolig og flotte omgivelser. Hytten var også svært koselig og fin.

Paradijs op aarde😍

Wij hadden 1 nacht geboekt omdat we op dooreis waren. Transfer van en naar het vliegveld en busstation was perfect geregeld. De accommodatie is werkelijk subliem. Tot in de puntjes verzorgd. ‘S avonds heerlijk gegeten en de volgende ochtend verwend met een verrukkelijk ontbijt. De accommodatie bevindt zich op een geweldige locatie!! Het personeel is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam, wij voelden ons helemaal thuis. 1 nacht was dan ook veel te kort, wij komen zeker terug!! Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge krijgt van ons de allerhoogste waardering voor alle onderdelen!

Perfect combination of luxury & fun for families

We absolutely loved our stay at Bjørnfjell and can’t wait to go back. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our Lodge are gorgeous, stylish decorated but also cosy, with comfy beds and a huge window looking out at the Ski-slope. We saw the Northern lights right above there. The best thing was also all the activities - we went cross country skiing with a wonderful guide, sledding and relaxed in the Sauna Cabin. The restaurant is also fantastic - the Chef is creative with fresh local ingredients. Breakfast was delicious too with lots of choose and homemade bread and jam. We loved it and felt so refreshed by our stay. Next time we also take the Polar night trip to watch for the lights from the Mountain top.

Amazing Christmas stay

Amazing stay over Christmas!! The cabins are so cozy, the spa cabin was private and relaxing, the food was incredible and overall the service from the staff was fantastic — they thought of everything and anticipated all of our needs. I would love to come back and stay even longer next time.
