With new COVID-19 rules and measures to follow, travel looks a little different these days. Here are some useful things to know before you hop on that plane to Alro:

• Investigate what rules and restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check government advisories before booking.
• Wear a face mask even during airport screening. A TSA officer will require you to adjust your mask for identification purposes.
• Do not hand your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA officer. Instead, you should place the pass on the reader and then hold it up so the agent can inspect it.
• You are now permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on baggage. You'll need to remove it for X-ray scanning.
• Empty your personal items from your pocket, like your keys, phone and wallet, and place them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• If you're bringing food through security screening, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for closer inspection.
