「Nice, air conditioned room that opened up directly outside for easy access to car.」

「at least the beds were comfortable and they had waffles at breakfast. I wish we had asked for a second floor room so we could have opened the window. there are not individual A/C units in the rooms. we had to go buy a fan. besides being on the first floor and not wanting the window open for that reason, there wasn't a screen. so 2nd floor probably didn't have one either.」

「New very clean hotel. Continental breakfast was great. Check out wasn’t till noon which was nice. Highly recommended.」

「It enjoyed the location as there was a bike trail by the river in the back to use. It was close to downtown to walk to places to eat and explore.」

「They are cute little cottages on Long Lake north of Alpena. Very clean and friendly! Nothing fancy just simple way of life. You can bring your boat and dock it, fish and/or have a bonfire. 🔥」

「The staff was friendly and kind. Breakfast went until 10:30 and I appreciated that! There was hair in the shower and bed, cob webs in corners, and the bed was uncomfortable. The sheets and towels were so dingy I wondered if they were clean. At 2:30am I went down to get my pillow out of the car because theirs were flat. The location is what makes this place special. I was thankful to be out of the severe weather for the night but I wouldn’t stay here again.」
