This is a very old mom and pop motel that has been updated. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Laminate flooring...no nasty carpet. The bathroom/shower is very clean but very outdated but functional. Big Bear Lodge is a motel, central to several parks, shopping and restaurants. If you want a room with coffee, fridge, microwave and air conditioning, central to parks and restaurants this would be a good motel for your next stay.

This place was old and needed some upkeep on the grounds but the room was comfortable and clean. The park is across the street and there is an Italian bar/restaurant right next door. I would probably stay there again if in the area.
